Thing 1: Blogging

It's Sunday evening, week 1 and I have finally found time to sit down and create a blog for 23 Things Kansas. I love the challenge of mastering new technology and gadgets, so I'm looking forward to this experience.

I am the librarian at Olpe Elementary and Olpe High School. I love where I am and working with kids of all ages keeps me on my toes! The budget cuts have made this a rough year. My library aide's job was cut last month and I am still adjusting to functioning without her. It's impossible to be in 2 places at once! I find myself thinking "If I could just create a clone of myself." Remember the movie Multiplicity?

I am hoping to someday use these Web 2.0 tools with students. But, for now, most of the tools are blocked at school.
